Hyderabad :

Assistant professor at the University of Hyderabad Dr Amit Kumar was awarded a fellowship by the Weatherhead Initiative on Global History (WIGH), Harvard University.

The fellowship gives Kumar an opportunity to be a part of the curriculum towards teaching and research on global history. “I will contribute on the theme — Global Migration,” he said.

The assistant professor at the UGC Centre for Study of Indian Diaspora (CSID) at the UoH will spend the 2014-115 academic year at Harvard.
